Non-Destructive Testing
Ace Precision utilizes the following Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods: fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI), computed radiography/digital X-Ray inspection, and fluorescent magnetic particle inspection. Our NDT inspectors are held to rigid standards for acceptance criteria and training, and three in-house Level III inspectors develop NDT techniques, interpret customer specifications, monitor compliance, and train other inspectors.

NADCAP and OEM Customers accredit NDT testing processes.
Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
Fluorescent penetrant inspection is used on parts to locate surface discontinuities on welds, wrought material, and semi-finished and finished machined surface of parts.
Computed Radiography/Digital X-Ray
Ace Precision's utilizes state-of-the-art computed radiography/digital X-ray. This system provides real time analysis of weld features during setups, production, and weld development. The working envelope of this machine is 30"x30"x30".
